Even if it’s not fall I loveeee these cinnamon baked apples! They’re easier on the digestive system and a perfect dessert or treat with breakfast. Try adding it to a bowl of oats or yogurt parfait. Or at night maybe some vegan vanilla ice cream. I like to store my baked apples in a mason jar which keeps them preserved for 2 weeks. Nutrition facts down below! Enjoy!
Did you know apples are a great source of fiber and micronutrients like vitamin C? Apples are one of the foods listed on the Dirty Dozen, produce with the most pesticides usage, so try to buy organic when possible. Costco has a great bag of organic apples that I often use to make this recipe. Trader joe’s also has great affordable apple options. And the best option, of course, is the Farmers’ market. Support your local farmers and get some weekend steps in too. Enjoy and let me know how you like this recipe in the comments below!
