Traditional Tzatziki

StephanieWellbeing
Creamy, protein-filled, & tasty! Tzatziki is the perfect dip for get-togethers or served with some grilled pita and raw veggies. Dig in!

Ingredients

  • 3 cups full-fat Plain Greek Yogurt, see note
  • 4 tbsp lemon juice
  • 4 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 large cucumber, skinned and diced finely
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced (or more if you like vampire breath)
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill
  • 1 tsp fresh cracked black pepper
  • 1 tsp ground sea salt, to taste
  • Pitted Kalamata Olives, optional

Instructions

  • Mix all of the ingredients into a bowl and voila! Add extra minced garlic for a kick, more EVOO if spreading on pita, or top with pitted kalamata olives for a traditional table-side appetizer!

Notes

I recommend Fage 5% Whole Milk Yogurt for a rich taste
